Drawn by Cival.Manipulation.dll's own OnRender code on recorded BTC-PERP 5-minute bars, Oct 17 17:05 UTC – Oct 17 22:50 UTC. The panel shows the study's state at the end of the 4.8-day recording, so it can describe a later setup than the one in view.

How these images were made

Each image was drawn by the indicator plugin’s own rendering code, run outside ATAS on recorded Hyperliquid BTC-PERP trades from October 17–21, 2026. The candles underneath are drawn by our render harness in place of ATAS’s chart, so fonts and spacing differ slightly from ATAS itself. Nothing was edited after rendering.

Cival Manipulation & Pressure Toolkit

Two order-flow studies in one package: a closed-bar compression → sweep → reclaim → expansion cycle map, and footprint pressure bubbles with until-touch absorption candidates.

Manipulation runs on price with optional footprint evidence. Pressure Toolkit needs footprint data; big prints need tick history and DOM bars need a live depth feed.

What's included

Two compiled ATAS plugins: Cival.Manipulation.dll and Cival.PressureToolkit.dll
Manipulation cycle map: range confirmed, swept, reclaimed, expansion, 1R and 2R guides observed
Evidence checklist per cycle, with invalidated and expired cycles kept visible
Pressure bubbles at the strongest qualifying footprint row, with buy, sell and delta
Wick-absorption candidates with lines that extend until touched; big-print circles
Adaptive round numbers and live DOM resting-volume bars, labelled LIVE
Tutorial set for both indicators: install, settings, signal walkthrough, playbooks
TradingView (Pine v6) and NinjaTrader 8 ports with an explicit feature-support matrix

How it works

Cival Manipulation maps a four-stage pattern on closed bars: a compressed range is confirmed and frozen, one side is swept, price closes back inside, and a displacement candle expands out of the opposite side. Each cycle reports its evidence — compression, sweep, reclaim, displacement, relative volume, VWAP, delta and recorded stacked imbalance — and derives stop and 1R/2R reference prices. Invalidated and expired cycles stay on the chart, so failures are as visible as completions.

Cival Pressure Toolkit marks the strongest one-sided row of a candle with a pressure bubble, flags unusually large wick activity as absorption candidates whose lines run until price touches them, draws large individual prints, adaptive round numbers and live resting depth from the DOM.

Both are described the way the data allows: executed aggression and price response, never claims about whose stops or positions were involved.

Platform support

ATAS is the reference version. Other platforms expose different order-flow data, so each port does what its platform allows and says so in the chart when a feature is approximate or unavailable.

Install in ATAS

Full instructions, including manual install and uninstall, are in the download and the documentation below.

01
Download and verify
Download the release from your account, extract it, and compare the files with SHA256SUMS.txt.
02
Close ATAS and install
Run ATAS\Install.ps1. It copies the plugin into %APPDATA%\ATAS\Indicators, backs up any older copy and checks the hash.
03
Add it to a chart
Open ATAS, then add Cival Manipulation and Cival Pressure Toolkit from the indicator list. Load enough history for the warm-up.
04
Read before you trade
Walk through the signal guide and replay a few sessions. Every setting and label is documented.

Before you buy

Does “manipulation” mean it detects market abuse?

No. The name describes a well-known price pattern — compression, a one-sided sweep, a reclaim and an expansion. The study reports the pattern and its evidence; it makes no claim about anyone’s intent.

Are absorption candidates proven absorption?

No, and they are labelled as candidates. A footprint shows executed trades, not which resting orders absorbed them.

Do I need a Cival dashboard?

No. Each of these studies is a standalone chart indicator. It does not connect to the Cival dashboard, any exchange account or the internet.

Does it place trades?

No. It draws analysis on your chart and can raise local alerts. It never sends orders, and nothing it shows is a recommendation to trade.

Does it repaint?

Confirmed signals are computed on closed bars only and are not changed by later candles. Anything drawn on the forming candle is labelled as live or unconfirmed.

Which platforms are included?

The compiled ATAS plugin is the reference version. TradingView and NinjaTrader 8 ports are included as source code, with a table of which features each platform can and cannot support.

What license do I get?

A one-time, perpetual license for one person to use the software on their own machines, with updates to this major version. Redistribution or resale of the files is not permitted. The full text is in LICENSE.txt and the store terms.
