Drawn by Cival.AuctionStructure.dll's own OnRender code on recorded BTC-PERP 15-minute bars, Oct 18 00:00 UTC – Oct 19 23:45 UTC. The panel shows the study's state at the end of the 4.8-day recording, so it can describe a later setup than the one in view.
How these images were made
Each image was drawn by the indicator plugin’s own rendering code, run outside ATAS on recorded Hyperliquid BTC-PERP trades from October 17–21, 2026. The candles underneath are drawn by our render harness in place of ATAS’s chart, so fonts and spacing differ slightly from ATAS itself. Nothing was edited after rendering.

TPO market profile from time spent at price: TPOC, value area, profile shape, single prints, poor or excess edges, and failed auctions at the prior session's extremes.
Works on any chart. Footprint data gives exact visited prices; without it the profile uses candle ranges and is labelled APPROXIMATE.

What's included
How it works
Auction Structure counts how many time brackets visited each price in the session — time, not volume — using the footprint's visited prices when they are available and the candle range otherwise, labelled APPROXIMATE. From those counts it reports the TPOC, value area, profile shape, single-print rows and whether each edge looks poor or excessive.
When a session completes, its TPOC, value-area low and value-area high carry forward as levels. If the next session probes beyond the prior profile's extreme and closes back inside, the bar is marked as a failed auction.
Partial sessions and coarse bars are labelled as such, so you always know how much of the profile is real data.
Platform support
ATAS is the reference version. Other platforms expose different order-flow data, so each port does what its platform allows and says so in the chart when a feature is approximate or unavailable.

Before you buy
Is this a volume profile?
No. TPO counts how many time brackets visited each price — time at price, not volume at price. Both views are useful and they can disagree.
Do I need a Cival dashboard?
No. Auction Structure is a standalone chart indicator. It does not connect to the Cival dashboard, any exchange account or the internet.
Does it place trades?
No. It draws analysis on your chart and can raise local alerts. It never sends orders, and nothing it shows is a recommendation to trade.
Does it repaint?
Confirmed signals are computed on closed bars only and are not changed by later candles. Anything drawn on the forming candle is labelled as live or unconfirmed.
Which platforms are included?
The compiled ATAS plugin is the reference version. TradingView and NinjaTrader 8 ports are included as source code, with a table of which features each platform can and cannot support.
What license do I get?
