Affiliate program terms
These terms govern participation in the Cival Systems affiliate program. They supplement the site Terms of Service.
Enrollment and attribution
Applicants must use a verified Cival account. We review applications and may approve, reject, or suspend participation. Approved affiliates receive a unique code and links. A referral link stores a first-party code for up to 30 days; a later valid referral link replaces the earlier code. Customers can remove the code before paying. A qualifying purchase must be attributed at checkout before payment. A later message to support does not retroactively assign a referral. Affiliates may not refer themselves, use another account to buy for themselves, or manipulate attribution. Link visits are counts, not unique people or guaranteed conversions.
Commission
The rate is 20% of eligible amounts actually paid for Cival source-code products and paid hosted-dashboard invoices. The base excludes taxes, discounts, $0 trials, refunded amounts, disputed amounts, and transactions that do not settle. Hosting subscription renewals remain eligible when attributed to the original referred subscription. Cival can reverse or adjust a commission after a refund, dispute, payment failure, or error. Any overpayment must be recovered before further claims.
Claims and payouts
Commissions are held for 30 days after payment. Once at least $50 is available, an affiliate can submit a claim. Cival reviews claims and sends approved amounts to the affiliate’s verified Stripe Connect account. Stripe may request identity or tax information and controls the timing of the bank payout. No bank account or tax ID should be sent to Cival. Claims may be delayed while suspected fraud, refunds, disputes, account verification, or accounting discrepancies are reviewed. There is no guaranteed payment date.
Promotion standards
Affiliates must identify their material connection to Cival in promotions, follow applicable advertising and privacy rules, and use accurate product descriptions. Do not promise returns, invent performance, portray the software as financial advice, impersonate Cival, bid on misleading brand ads, send unsolicited messages, or publish fake reviews. Use screenshots only when they accurately represent the version being sold. We may ask for a promotion to be corrected or removed.
Changes and support
We may update these terms or end the program, with notice for material changes. Earned, valid commissions remain subject to the refund and dispute rules. For an attribution or payout question, contact support from the email on your Cival account.
